I love peg board. Always have. 2.0 suggested we hang some in the kitchen (to honour Julia Child), but it doesn’t quite suit the space. The Craft Room, on the other hand, is begging for it. So we rescued a piece from Home Depot (someone might have put it in a shed with spiders otherwise), and placed it in its new, spider-free home.

The colour quality isn’t great in these photos – it was early this morning and the light wasn’t very good. But you get the idea, right?
I had intended to paint it blue, but after priming it looked white washed and I really liked it. I thought it would work well with the newly painted white walls. I added some blue via the “R,” which will match the chair I finished painting this morning.

Just so sweet. And worth all the hard work.
I just love your Blogs….. What did you use on the peg board – a paint wash or something?
When I primed the peg board, that’s what I got! Because the peg board had a glossy finish, the primer went on with that white-washed look. I liked it so much that I decided not to paint it, and left it just as it was. It’s one of my favourite things in the craft room…
