I’ve started re-thinking our deck space. As in: we need to put something on the deck. Anything.

Last summer we just didn’t get to it – too busy with the gardens and settling into the house. I’d like to have a cheery outdoor space where we could eat and entertain. I have a couple of old deck chairs that I love, love, love, but they are starting to show their age.

Rosie Beaucoup had some leftover exterior paint in her collection, and with only a few slats to paint, it seemed like a cheap (free) way to update the chairs and get another year or two out of them.

Now we need a table. We could eat without, but then there wouldn’t be anywhere to set our alcohol. Oh, and a few more chairs. Because we have other people in our lives who like alcohol too.
