salmon cheeseballesque dip

. . .

What? You’re too busy to cook? And some yahoo invited you to some stupid thing at their house and you have to bring some lame and edible contribution to the event? Don’t fret, sista. I’m here for you. Make this easy dip. And bring along some fancy crackers or a wee tray of veggies. People will love you.

This here dip is so easy to make that a monkey could do it. Provided that monkey had access to a can opener.

You’re welcome.

.

Author’s Note: though I brought this dip to The Rutherfords’ last week, it in no suggests that I think that they are yahoos or that the event at their house was stupid. (Or does it?)

Salmon Cheeseballesssque Dip – a recipe handed down to movita by rosie beaucoup, original source unknown - download recipe

  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 can salmon (I use flaked, skinless/boneless)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped onion (I use shallot, probably closer to 2 tbsp)
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • dash of salt and pepper
  • parsley flakes

Combine softened cream cheese with salmon. Add remaining ingredients and mix well. Mould into a ball and place on a plate or serve in a bowl. Sprinkle with parsley flakes.
