We have learned that the judges traditionally favour loads of candy. Loads of it. Of course, that doesn’t seem to be the case with the judges this year… Also, we really like candy.

Did anyone else notice that they are the only two entries in which every single gingery inch of house and surroundings is covered with candy and icing? Although they are both gorgeous, and look delectable, I’m wondering if this says anything about the inferior quality of the gingerbread itself…maybe they used cardboard/old cereal boxes/lego houses? Hmmmm….
