more ironwood farm
More pictures from our day at Ironwood farm. Delightful!
So, here’s the thing: there’s something to see every which way you turn. The greenhouse is chock-a-block full of tomatoes, eggplant, peppers and cucumbers. Every time you turn your head there’s a plant with a yummy treat growing on it. It even smells tasty in there.
The fields are full of berries and grapes, and there’s a huge garden patch filled with garlic, dill, parsley, cilantro and poppies. We picked some raspberries and blueberries, and Heatherjay is dropping off another 5 lb. box of blueberries this evening. We plan to stock our freezer with Ironwood gems to last us through the winter. I’m figuring we’ll need another box or two later this month…
There are little treasures everywhere…
and a few tractors.
Makes you wanna live on a farm, right?
