I’m not one to complain about the weather but holy sh!t, it’s hot. We ran errands this am to get ready for this storm we might have. I would love to go for a swim but, just do not have it in me to get myself and two kids ready to go. plus I woke up with a killer sore throat this am…doesnt help when you are trying to keep the fluids going. well, if we do get the storm, i hope you make it through without any damage. keep us posted.
We are stocked with snack foods, flashlights and a wind up radio. At least it’s summer – when the power goes out in the winter, it’s too cold to function. I figure we’ve built up enough heat in the house this week to keep us warm until… New Year’s. Stay safe with your family. And if they get annoying when you are storm-stayed, lick them and make their throats sore.
