movita’s veggie patch – progress report { 8 }

It’s happening. We’re farmers. We’ve got real, live pea pods in the garden, and a few rows of strawberries to munch on. The carrots are growing, and the beets should soon be ready to pull. 2.0 spent the entire weekend out playing in the yard. He mulched every bed, mowed the lawn, created a trellis for the grape vines, harvested every ripe berry he could find, re-organized the wee shed, and pulled any weed that dared show its face.

It was a perfect long weekend. Here’s hoping your long weekend was just as grand…

    Looking good! Bit concerned about the wee shed though – is that a shed to wee in? Maybe it’s a transatlantic translation thingy

    You are in full production and ready to feed the world! That is one beautiful and tasty looking strawberry. I am envious, this year no garden for us just house building which isn’t as much fun and more difficult to turn into a salad. Sounds like you had a perfect gardening weekend.
