ribbon dispenser

No. The craft room isn’t done yet. It is almost done. I have a dresser to paint. That’s the last big project. So, to tide you over until I’m ready for the big reveal*, I thought I’d mention that 2.0 created a ribbon dispenser for me. Particularly sweet when you consider that I’m not sure he knows what ribbon is used for.

To make my ribbon dispenser, 2.0 cut some wood dowel into two small sections and attached little hooks onto one end of each.

The other end was then screwed into the shelf.

Then he set a long metal dowel between the wooden hangers to set the ribbon spools on. Et voilà!

.

*Uh, when I say “big reveal,” I kinda mean: don’t get your hopes up too high because I’m not a designer and I’m not independently wealthy. Don’t pin all your hopes and dreams on me, people. Don’t do it.

This is such a good idea! I must now immediately purchase many spools of ribbon to justify a ribbon dispenser. I am in fact pinning all my hopes on the big reveal, I am anticipating dancing chickens, roller skating children in face masks and other poultry related entertainments. I know you won’t let me down.

      1. Yes. Buy lots and lots of ribbon.
      2. I guess I’m going to quit my job so I can work on the big reveal.
      3. Please send money for the big reveal.

As per requested mention above I have placed children on e-bay to pay for reveal extravaganza. So far no bids but there is time. Have placed bid on wholesale lot of poultry so as not to miss out. Also aim to purchase 4 hundred weight of ribbon before close of business. I love it when a plan comes together.

Holy crap, you are organized. I will await the proceeds from the sale of your children before proceeding with the big reveal.

Just noodling around on your newly-redesigned site (love it!) and found this post. I just turned my head to the left and looked at the floor. That’s where I have my stash of ribbon sitting in an old grocery bag. Gotta say, your storage system is way better! I gotta copy that!
