2015 commenter of the year

2015 commenter of the year // movita beaucoup

This week, I read through every comment left on my blog in 2015. There were a lot. (Amazing given that I abandoned this space for about six months to live like a cave goblin.) So many of you made me snort, chortle and laugh this year! After some careful consideration, I have chosen Stephbo, aka Stephanie, as my 2015 Commenter of the Year. Mostly because it’s fun to announce a winner when nobody even knew they were competing.

Stephanie likes to leave comments like:

I’m afraid you lost me at “leftover frosting.” I’m not at all familiar with this concept.

And:

Whaddya mean, you can’t find recipe pairings for flatulence stories?!? Anything which includes broccoli, beans, and/or dairy products should do it.

Thanks for being here, Stephanie. You’re the cat’s pyjamas! As a small token of my gratitude, I have sent you a $25.00 gift card from Amazon. Get yourself a little treat, okay?

Comments left by readers make my blog more awesome. (And funnier!) I know how busy you all are with suing people and duct tape art, so I really appreciate the time so many of you take to leave witty remarks and kind words. Thanks for sticking around as my blog transitions to… whatever the hell this place is now.

Happy New Year!!

Girlfran, I wanna meet that Stephanie poo. I’m thinking we may all become besties. You make the cake, I eat it, and Stephanie licks the remaining frosting. Guaranteed, no leftovers, and maybe the occasional belly laugh while snorting milk outta our noses.

This is a great idea and I love how you executed it! I’ve kicked around something vaguely like this but never got off my butt to do it! Way to be a trendsetter and congrats to Stephanie! Also that graphic was hilarious! ????????

Hahaha, this is brilliant! This needs to me an annual competition, me thinks. You have one of the most entertaining comments sections on the whole web (and I’m not just saying that because I’m here).

I’m absolutely speechless! Finally, my snarkiness pays off with a Major Award! The others may just have to move out of the house to make room for the size of my giant head because I’m going to lord it over them from now on. I don’t even care that it’s just my husband and the cats.

Congratulations on your win! I suggest you spend your Wealth on a leg lamp. Then you’ll have purchased one Major Award with *another* major award!

That’s a fantastic idea! I’ve had my eye on the full-sized leg lamp for quite some time!
